Bailing out SAA was a wrong move

FOR years, taxpayers have been at the giving end of the bottomless pit called SAA.

Is this because we need an icon or because the persons responsible have no idea what a “lost cause” is?

Why wasn’t Eskom, the other huge state-owned entity, dragged out of the mire instead.

Maybe we wouldn’t be inflicted with abominable load shedding which affects 100% of South Africans instead of a handful of air travellers.
